Shanghai Shen-Li High Tech Co. was founded in June, 1998. Shanghai Shen-Li is a leading company in the business of developing, manufacturing and marketing proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell products.
Since 1998, Shanghai Shen-Li has been awarded many research contracts from the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Shanghai Municipal government. Seven most important research contracts, including the national ninth-five year Key Science and Technology Project "PEM fuel cell Technology", national tenth-five year 863 High Technology Project, "Fuel Cell Engines", have been successfully completed, while many fuel cell technology commercialization milestones have been achieved.
Shanghai Shen-Li can offer many different PEM fuel cell products (0.1~150kW fuel cell power systems) to meet the different needs of customers. We are fully committed to bring our PEM fuel cell products to meet the performance criteria of low cost, high reliability, power density and safety. Nowadays, almost all of the fuel cell vehicles running in China are powered by Shanghai Shen-Li fuel cells.
Shanghai Shen-Li has demonstrated many unique and proprietary PEM fuel cell technologies (over 300 patents applied in China and USA until 2007) in the products of fuel cell power engines for city bus (85-100kW) or passenger cars (55kW) and stationary or portable powers. These products have already met the criteria of high performance, low cost, high reliability, long lifetime, safety and massive production.
All the fuel cell passenger cars (one of ChaoYue NO.1 series, two of ChaoYue NO.2 series, ten of ChaoYue NO.3 series) developed by TongJi university are powered by 50kW fuel cell engines from Shanghai Shen-Li.
All the fuel cell city buses (QingNeng NO.1, QingNeng NO.3, QingNeng goal products), developed by Tsinghua university, are powered by 100-150kW fuel cell engines from Shanghai Shen-Li.
As far as 2007, the company is hiring over one hundred high quality specialized employees with a broad range of expertise and commitment to develop technology, which will support fuel cell as the leading power source in the transportation, stationary and portable power markets.
